Andrés is Alkanza’s Founder and CEO. He has more than eighteen years of experience in the field of financial mathematics. His studies include undergraduate degrees from MIT in Economics, Mechanical Engineering, and Management Science. His graduate work includes studies in a Masters in Financial Engineering from NYU, a Masters in Financial Mathematics from Stanford, and PhD in Statistics from Stanford. Andrés worked for several years in New York at JP Morgan and Credit Suisse, managing derivatives portfolios in equities, foreign exchange, and fixed income. Since leaving New York, Andrés successfully started a boutique quantitative finance consulting company that grew into the leading company in the field in Latin America with business in 17 countries and more than 50 institutional and corporate clients with revenues of over US 45.6 Billion.
